The UKCCD recently represented our International Federation (IFCCD) at UNESCO’s Mondiacult 2022, a unique meeting of 150 ministers of culture, civil society and international arts institutions. The IFCCD was campaigning for Culture to be included as the 18th Goal in the forthcoming Sustainable Development Goals 2030. We were also part of a Fair Trade initiative for culture, promoting a toolkit of policy objectives to address inequality in exchange of creative works between North and South, and fair remuneration for all artists.
