We are the UKCCD
The UK Coalition for Cultural Diversity
The UKCCD defends our right to cultural creativity, diversity and pluralism at both local and international level.
We use the framework of the 2005 UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions to guide our work. As a founding member of the International Federation of Coalitions for Cultural Diversity, we represent UK civil society alongside government at UNESCO. In Europe, we engage at a high level with cultural creator organisations, the European Parliament, and the European Commission, advocating for cultural rights and diversity across the region.
