The discoverability of creative content in the digital environment refers to its availability online and its ability to be located among a vast set of other creative content. In a world where algorithmic recommendations largely guide access to cultural works, the notion of discoverability should lead to more refined regulations that are better adapted to such a reality. The Coalition for European Cultural Diversity has identified four key challenges in strengthening the notion of discoverability in the following memo, which applies to the UK market too.
