The UKCCD regrets the government’s announcement that the Young Audience Content Fund will cease. It gives vital support to public service broadcasters and independent British producers to make films and programmes specifically for young people in the UK. The UKCCD is calling on the government for immediate review and replacement proposals. The UKCCD supports draft legislation, which would provide for the creation of a special cultural content fund, drawn from a usage fund on theatrical, linear and streaming platforms.
